Sarah Elizabeth McKinney Sarah Elizabeth McKINNEY was born 15 Mar 1800 in Rockingham Co., NC. She was the daughter of John McKINNEY and Temperance ________. Her family moved to Middle Tennessee when she was a young girl.
On 26 Dec 1824 she was married to Thomas ELLIOTT in Williamson Co., TN. His parents are not known. About 1828/9 Sarah and Thomas moved with her parents, brothers and sisters to Sangamon Co., IL. They stayed for about seven years before moving to Grant Co., WI about 1835.
They moved again about 1848 to Richland Co., WI where they spent the rest of their lives.
Thomas and Sarah had 8 known children.

Thomas died 11 Sep 1863. He was 73 years old. Sarah died 8 Jun 1864. Both are buried in Coumbe Cemetery, Richland Co., WI.
