David WALKER was born about 1843 in Ireland. (1) He was the son of John WALKER and Dorothy Hillis.(2) He may have been the first of the family to move from PA to IL because he is on the 1862 military census for Brown Co. About 1862/3 he was married to Jane CARR in Brown Co., IL.(3) Her parents are unknown.He purchased land in Missouri Twp prior to 1867 when he sold land to William Kellum. He is listed with $1000 of real estate in the 1870 census.
There are 8 known children of David and Jane.
David last appears in Brown Co about 1884 when he sold land(12) and was involved in a court case with his father, John. He is not found in the 1900 census of Brown Co., IL nor as a death record been found for him or Jane.
