Espedia Eunice Powell

Espedia Eunice POWELL, the daugher of Lewis F. POWELLand Mary P. IRISH was born 6 Nov 1857 in Newberg Twp., Cass Co., MI. Her family moved to Taylor Co., IA where she met and married Richard Austin RAPER on 15 May 1877 in Dallas, Taylor Co., IA. Richard was the son of Augustus F. RAPER and Caroline Alice PARSONS.

Speedie and Austin lived in Iowa for several years before moving to IL about 1892. After a period of time they again traveled to Taylor Co. Speedie died 22 May 1945 in New Guss, Nod Twp, Taylor Co., IA where she was living with her daughter. She is buried in Dallas Center Cemetery, Taylor Co., IA

  11. Lewis Fredrick RAPER b. 5 Oct 1901 in IL. He married Beaulah Rebecca JORDAN about 1924. Lewis died 26 Dec 1965 in San Diego, CA and is buried at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery.
