Lauritz Alexander Paulsen

Lauritz (Louis) Alexander PAULSEN was born 28 Nov 1854 in V. Bronderslev, Hjorring, Jylland, Denmark. His parents are unknown.

 He married Marie PEDERSEN on 7 Mar 1884 in Bronderslev, Hyorring, Jylland, Denmark. She was the daughter of Peder JOHANSEN and Mariane JENSDATTER. Louis, Marie and their two oldest children immigrated to the United States and arrived by boat at New, York, NY on 2 Aug 1887. They settled in Omaha, NE. They moved to Missouri Valley, Harrison Co., IA a short time later. Louis became a naturalized citizen of the US on 9 Sep 1892 in Logan, Harrison Co., IA.

In 1915 they moved to Milltown, Polk Co., WI where they lived until Louis died 31 Oct 1938. He is buried in Milltown Cemetery.
