Eloise Estella McBain Eloise (Lois) Estella MCBAIN was born 22 Jul 1924 in Cedar Falls, Black Hawk Co., IA. She was the daughter of Gurney (SHULTZ) MCBAIN and Mary Elizabeth WALKER. She attended Cedar Falls schools and graduated in 1942.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA and it was at a church meeting at the Bible Camp in Cedar Falls, that she met Albert Lincoln JENSEN. He was the son of Lauritz Christian JENSEN and Mathilde Christina PAULSEN. His family was in Cedar Falls to attend the meeting. She was married to Albert on 13 Jun 1946 in Cedar Falls, Black Hawk Co., IA.
Shortly after their marriage, Lois and Albert moved to Muscatine, IA where he worked at Carver Pump Co., for two years. They returned to Waterloo where they lived in 1952. At that time they moved to Ames where Albert worked with his brothers in construction for about 6 weeks. They then returned to Cedar Falls to live until they were divorced on 18 Dec 1967.
There are 3 children of Lois and Albert. All are still living.
Lois attended Gates Business College in 1968 and after that worked at Waterloo Industries. Lois married again and there were no children from that marriage. She and her husband moved to Eldora, Hardin Co., IA where she worked as a cook for several years. She and her husband moved to Florida in their retirement and Lois died in Tampa, FL on 4 Jul 1987. She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike, Grundy Co., IA.
