Elizabeth Maddox

Elizabeth MADDOX/MATTOX was born about 1840 in IL. Her parents are believed to be Pleasant and Catherine Maddox (1a). She married 1) Robert F. LINN/LYNN 20 Aug 1856 in Brown Co., IL. (1b) Evidence seems to indicate that Robert was first married to Lucinda MADDOX, a sister of Elizabeth's.(2)

  4. Frederick LINN b. 30 Aug 1863 in Brown Co. m. 1) Ellen AGANS on 31 Aug 1888 and 2) Cornelia LASHBROOK on 3 Oct 1897. d. 21 Oct 1948 in Macomb, IL, buried in Industry, Schuyler Co., IL. (6)

Robert died in 1871 and is buried in Linn Cemetary, Missouri Twp, Brown Co., IL(9). Elizabeth married 2) Charles WALKER on 15 May 1872(10). Elizabeth died about 1883. No record has been found of her burial.

There are 3 children of Charles and Elizabeth.

  1. James WALKER was b. 1873 in Scotts Mill, Brown Co., IL. On 29 Jan 1896 he was married to 1) Eda Estella RAPER in Industry, McDonough Co., IL. (11) James married 2) Pearl ASHCRAFT on 4 Jun 1902 in Brown Co. IL. He died ca 1947.(12)

  2. Harriet Elizabeth WALKER b. 7 Jun 1877 in Brown Co., IL. She married 1) John F. ASHCRAFT on 10 Mar 1893 in Mt. Sterling. After he died, she married 2) Jasper RAMSEY on 20 Nov 1915. She died 10 Sep 1945 in Rushville, Schuyler Co., IL.(13)

  3. Mary Elizabeth WALKER b. 20 Oct 1879 in Brown Co., IL. She married Carl Ross LAWLER on 17 Feb 1903. She died 13 Nov 1961 in Rushville, Schuyler Co., IL and is buried in the Rushville Cemetery.(14)

I would be very interested in corresponding with any of the descendants of Charles and Elizabeth. Who were her parents? She had one sister Lucinda who was Robert Linn's first wife, were there other siblings?
